Concluded date: July 29, 2026 Demo Day
The Khalifa University Enterprises Company (KUEC) successfully concluded KU Launchpad 2026, an eight-week ideation and entrepreneurship program that equipped aspiring innovators with the skills, mentorship, and expert guidance needed to transform early ideas into validated concepts.
Held from 10 June to 29 July 2026, the program guided participants through a structured journey covering entrepreneurial mindset, problem discovery, design thinking, early prototyping, go-to-market strategy, and pitch preparation. The initiative brought together students, mentors, and innovation experts, reinforcing KUEC’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent from the earliest stages of the innovation journey.
Twelve projects were selected for the cohort, exploring challenges across sectors including artificial intelligence, sustainability, energy, education, cultural heritage, robotics, and civic services. The program culminated in a Demo Day where teams presented their validated concepts to a panel of judges.
“Every great venture begins with a well-tested idea. Launchpad gives our community the space, structure, and expert support to ask the right questions before building the answers.”
Through expert-led workshops, mentorship opportunities, office hours, and pitch rehearsals, Launchpad provided participants with a platform to refine their ideas, validate market opportunities, and test their assumptions with real users.
The successful completion of Launchpad 2026 reflects KUEC’s broader mission to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset across the KU community and prepare promising talent for the next stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
